Today we get to party!!

YAY!!!!!

Today is awesome!!! We can't get onto wiki. I can't wait till this weekend!! I'm going swimming, YAY!!!!

TOWARDS THE END

We are getting closer towards the end of the year. Just yesterday we all finished up our presentations. Everybody did great with their games! I believe I did well with my presentation. I have learned alot this year with working in flash, blogging, and editing my wiki page. I can't believe this year is coming to an end, and all the games are finished. We have all been working on them forever it seems and now that it's done it has gone by way to fast. Having all my best friends in the class really helped me a lot because if I needed help they were there to help me out. Mrs. Sheppard has been amazing!! She has helped us all so much. She even brought in books of codes that we could use in our games if we needed them. Now everybody is editing all their work to send it into the STEM compition to send in! I have had a great year this year!!

STILL WORKING!!

I am still working on my game final game scene!! Can't wait till i get it finished!! While working on my ending to my game I have also added on information scene to the begining of my scene. CHECK IT OUT!!!

ALMOST THERE!!

I am almost there!! I have finished putting questions and answers. I have put all the animation in my game that I need so far!! I have combined my socisl issue into the math for the game. i did this by coming up with word problems that relate to the issue you are trying to solve. Right now I'm working on taking the issue a step farther by showing what happens next. In my game you are trying to get animals off the street but in my game you have a certain pup that needs help; his name is Scruffy. I put in a story telling what happened and why he was abandoned. At the end after you get him off the street by answering equations correctly its going to show what happens and how he gets into the shelter to be adopted to a family that will love him. I can't wait to see how my full game turns out!!

Upcoming Weeks

In the next upcoming weeks I will be adding things to my game. This whole week I changed all my problems to word problems. The next week we are at school I'll be adding animation to my game. I think that will be my biggest obsticle for my game. I will have to make everything work. I can't wait to see how my game turns out!! I will be watching a lot of tutorials so I can figure out how to do all the coding. I'm nervous but excited!!

Game Developemant Plan

In my game developement plan I had to change everything on my wiki page. I have changed my idea that much. I reanswered my questions and uploaded my scenes. In my game it has came a long way but it also has a long way to go. I have made a timeline to what I need to do. I hope I will beable to stick to it. I am working on all the suggestions in my game that the people from the globaloria community has given me. I hope it will make my game more realistic and fun to play. The next thing is going to be making everything move to where it is supposed to go and when. Presentation

In my game demo presentation I believe I did fairly well explaining my game and how it is doing so far. I think I also did well explaining what my game is going to do. In my game presentation I made a power point to where it had all my things I was going to say and all the things I needed to say. I had all the things I needed to discuss of my wiki linked into my powerpoint. I linked my game into the powerpoint to where all you had to do is click on it and play. When the suggestions came Shannon, Meredith, and Rachelle gave me a really good idea that I'm going to use. In my game I am going to work in some word problems to where it will relate to my game more.In my final game I'm going to have all my animation to where it will make it more exciting!!! I hope to keep working hard to make my game alot more interesting and fun to play!!

We are now finished with our presentations!! Everybody did a really good job!! Rachel, Meredith, and Shannon helped by giving me some really good ideas about how to make my game a whole lot better. It was fun to watch the presentations because it was awesome to see everybody's ideas and everybody had some amazing ideas!! Can't wait till my game is finished to see what i have accomplished!!

Presenting Demo

Today we were supposed to present our game demos but something went wrong and now we cant do it. It's a little aggervating because we all have worked so hard to get everything ready and perfect. Some of our kids even dressed up for the presentations. There is a good thing though. Now we have one extra day to get make sure everything is perfect!!

Navigating

I finally got my scenes to navigate with in each other! If you are having trouble check and make sure you have a frame label. If you check that it will make a difference!! Check it out!!

Identify

I think my best skill in globaloria is putting sound on my game. I like doing it and I can find some awesome sounds. When you watch the tutorial on adding sound you will find it to be very easy. If I ever think about going into game design it will hlep me alot in my career. I would be using it almost every day. In my game this year I have added a bunch of sound to make the game more personal, and make the game more realistic.

Blogging

I looked at Mrs. Curry's blog. It is looking really good knowing that she has only had it for a little bit. She could add more links to see what she means. She has nice long blogs like you are supposed to. She needs to work on personalizing her blog a little more. Give her oppinion on somethings that she feels that is important and not just on Globaloria. Those are some of the things that I think will make her blog more interesting. Other than that she has been doing a great job!!!

Globaloria

I am having trouble navigating to my scenes. Everything is going wrong! Yesterday my game disappeared out of my saved files. I had to redo the whole thing. It was horrible! I emailed it to Mrs. Sheppard so I hope when we come back she will have a sollution to my problem on my game. :)

Angry

Today is our first day back at school. It's aggervating because now none of my filesx will open. We have tried everything! Now im behind so I'll try to catch up tomorrow.
